
- Open Microsoft
Outlook 2002 (XP).
- Press on Tools
Menu.
- Then press
on E-mail Accounts, as shown below.

- Select Add
a new e-mail account
- Press on the Next
Button underneath.

- Select POP3,
as shown below.
- Click on the Next
Button.
|
|
|
- Type in your
name in the Name Area.
- Enter your
email address with a @surfside.net address is
in the E-mail Area.
- Enter pop.surfside.net for Incoming
mail server (POP3).
- Enter smtp.surfside.net for Outgoing
mail server (SMTP).
- Input your Username for
the Account name.
- Input your Password underneath,
this is Case Sensitive.
- Log on using Secure
Password Authentication should be Unchecked
- Click on the More
Settings button

- Click the Outgoing
Server tab
|
|
|
- Check My
outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication
- Place a mark
at Use same settings as my incoming mail server
- Click OK
|
|
|
- Your finished!
