Open Microsoft Outlook 2002 (XP). Press on Tools Menu. Then press on E-mail Accounts, as shown below.

 

Select Add a new e-mail account Press on the Next Button underneath.

 

Select POP3, as shown below. Click on the Next Button.

Type in your name in the Name Area. Enter your email address with a @surfside.net address is in the E-mail Area. Enter pop.surfside.net for Incoming mail server (POP3). Enter smtp.surfside.net for Outgoing mail server (SMTP). Input your Username for the Account name. Input your Password underneath, this is Case Sensitive. Log on using Secure Password Authentication should be Unchecked Click on the More Settings button

 

Click the Outgoing Server tab

 

Check My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication Place a mark at Use same settings as my incoming mail server Click OK

Your finished! All settings are correct.
