Open Microsoft Outlook 97. Press on Tools Menu. Then press on Services, as shown below.

Select Internet Mail. Press on the Properties Button undeneath.

Type in your name in the Name Area. Enter your email address with a @surfside.net address is in the E-mail Area. Enter pop.surfside.net for Internet Mail server. Input your Username for the Account name. Input your Password underneath, this is Case Sensitive. Click on the Advanced Options button underneath.

Forward all outbound mail to smtp.surfside.net. Click on OK, then click on the Connection tab.

Insure that there is a tick in "Connect using the modem" Surfside should be in the box right underneath as shown below. Press on Apply, then OK. You're finished! All settings are correct.
