Open Microsoft Outlook 97. Press on Tools Menu. Then press on Services, as shown below.

Select Internet Mail. Press on the Properties Button undeneath.

Your name should be in the Name Area. Your email address with a @surfside.net address should be in the E-mail Area. pop.surfside.net should be in Internet Mail server. Your Username should be entered for the Account name. Your Password underneath, this is Case Sensitive. Click on the Advanced Options button underneath.

Forward all outbound mail should have smtp.surfside.net. Click on OK, then click on the Connection tab.

Insure that there is a tick in "Connect using the modem" Surfside should be in the box right underneath as shown below. Press on Apply, then OK. You're finished! All settings are correct.
